Data Entry Customer Support

Job Details

  • Candidates should possess initiative, be quick learners, be detail-oriented, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
  • Candidates must demonstrate strong verbal communication skills on the phone and good written skills with email
  • Candidates must demonstrate a high sense of urgency as well as strong follow-up with an emphasis on providing customer satisfaction
  • Schedule: Monday through Thursday 8am to 5pm. Alternating Fridays 8am to 5pm.

Position Responsibilities

  • Ensure customer satisfaction, including, but not limited to:
    • Sales order entry for requests received via:
      • Direct customer phone-ins
      • Sales rep phone-ins
      • Faxed transmissions
      • Phone answering machine orders
    • Customer requests for:
      • Merchandise return authorizations
      • Account balance information
      • Inquiries regarding delivery status, product availability, etc.
      • Problem resolution for errors in billing and/or delivery
    • Maintain a positive attitude with customers and co-workers to keep operations running in a smooth, upbeat and efficient manner
    • Payment processing (cash, check, credit card)
  • Maintain a positive attitude with customers and co-workers to keep operations running in a smooth, upbeat and efficient manner
  • Assist with any of the following customer service related functions, as required:
    • Data input of credits for returned merchandise
    • Receptionist duties associated with front lobby workstation which involve face to face customer service
    • Assist with the filing of sales order source documents and picking tickets
    • Emailing customer order guides, A/R statements, sales velocity reports, invoice copies
    • Assist with telemarketing functions
