Day Cash & Carry Counter Support Person

Job Details

  • Ensure walk-in customer satisfaction, including, but not limited to:
    • Sales order entry for point of sale orders
    • Customer requests for:
      • Merchandise return credits
      • Account balance information
      • Account payments
    • Pick, pack, invoice and load customer orders
    • Payment processing (cash, check, credit card)
  • Maintain a positive attitude with customers and co-workers to keep operations running in a smooth, upbeat and efficient manner
  • Assist with any of the following customer service related functions for next day delivery orders, as required:
    • Entry of sales orders and merchandise credit pickup requests
    • Data input of credits for returned merchandise
    • Receptionist duties associated with front lobby workstation which involve face to face customer service
    • Assist with the filing of sales invoices
    • Assist with outbound telemarketing functions
  • Any other duties as assigned by management


  • Maintain neat and clean appearance
  • Basic computer skills
  • Product knowledge
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Detail oriented with accurate cash counting ability
  • Math and reading comprehension skills
